Biography Siqun Wang
As global director of research and development, Siqun Wang is responsible for overseeing research, new product development and validation programs for DuPont Qualicon, based in Wilmington, Delaware. Previously, Wang had served as business development manager for DuPont Qualicon, working with food companies and regulatory agencies throughout the world.
Wang has contributed many articles, reviews and book chapters on microbiology and molecular biology. Joining DuPont Qualicon in 2004, Wang has led the company's efforts in identifying new technologies and business opportunities.
A former post-doctoral research associate for Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, Wang graduated from the Peking University Medical School. He earned a master's degree and Ph.D. in microbiology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Wang resides with his family in the Wilmington area.
