Biomax® Materials
Comprised of a variety of material choices, Biomax® is a category of renewably-sourced materials appropriate for Packaging and Industrial Polymers applications. DuPont has combined its internal development capabilities with alliances to bring you this exciting portfolio of offerings:
- Biomax® TPS – renewably-sourced thermoplastic starch (TPS) resins and sheet using Plantic® technology
- Biomax® PTT – renewably-sourced polytrimethylene terephthalate (PTT), and
- Biomax® Thermal - renewably-sourced proprietary heat stabilizing
modifier for Polylactic Acid or PLA
DuPont™ Renewably Sourced™ Materials contain a minimum of
20% renewably sourced ingredient by weight.
