Sorona® EP Thermoplastic Polymers
DuPont™ Sorona® EP products contain at least 20% to 37% renewably sourced material (by weight) derived from corn with DuPont Tate & Lyle Susterra™ renewably sourced™ propanediol as a key intermediate. The exact percentage of renewably sourced content will be available for each product when launched. Sorona® EP products start with the same basic polymer chemistry as Sorona® polymer used for fibers but through proprietary formulation technology, further enhancements are added to create high-performance resins suitable for engineering plastics applications.
DuPont™ Renewably Sourced™ Materials contain a minimum of 20% renewably sourced ingredient by weight.
