Sorona® EP Thermoplastic Polymers

DuPont™ Sorona® EP products will contain at least 30% to 37% renewably sourced material (by weight) derived from corn with DuPont Tate & Lyle Susterra™ renewably sourced™ propanediol as a key intermediate. The exact percentage of renewably sourced content will be available for each product when launched. Sorona® EP products will start with the same basic polymer chemistry as Sorona® polymer used for fibers but through proprietary formulation technology, further enhancements will be added to create high-performance resins suitable for engineering plastics applications. Sorona® EP will be commercially available in 2008.

DuPont™ Renewably Sourced™ Materials contain a minimum of 20% renewably sourced ingredient by weight.
