On October 14, DuPont closed on the acquisition of Coastal Training Technologies Corporation, a leading global producer of cutting-edge training programs, headquartered in Virginia Beach, Virginia. The acquisition agreement includes transfer of all client agreements, patents, copyrights, brands, equipment and personnel. Effective October 14, Coastal will become a wholly owned subsidiary of DuPont and part of DuPont Safety Resources, the safety consulting and safety training products arm of the DuPont Safety & Protection Platform.
We are excited about this announcement, which complements DuPont’s current consulting and training business. This is a synergistic alliance that will result in a unique business model with a comprehensive, creative and cost-effective portfolio of products and services greater than either company could produce on its own.
