DuPont Safety Resources (DSR) had three speakers at sessions of the 91st Annual National Safety Congress in Chicago, Ill. this week. Leo Hamilton, president, U.S. / Canada region for DuPont Safety Resources spoke explained how "Safety is 24/7" and Robert Krzywicki, principal consultant for construction/contractor safety at DuPont Safety Resources, led a session on "Steps to Becoming a Healthy Insurance Risk." Deborah Grubbe, P.E., corporate director, safety and health posed the question "How Healthy is Your Workforce?" In addition, the DuPont Safety and Protection Platform businesses were represented in a booth, with DuPont Safety Resources doubly represented in an additional booth that featured the Safety Training Observation Program™ (STOP).

In Leo's presentation, he discussed the role of safety as a core value, and as a robust and comprehensive managing system that yields benefits both inside and outside the workplace. In Robert's presentation, he discussed strategies for keeping workplace injury costs down as the contract work force grows. In her session, Deborah discussed the benefits of a preventive approach to health issues in the workplace.
