As part of an ongoing effort to share DuPont’s safety knowledge in emerging markets, DuPont leaders recently met with members of the Indian oil and gas industry in New Delhi, India.

Roger Moore, president, DuPont Safety Resources, Asia Pacific, and Ramabhadran Srinivasan, senior manager, India, and client fulfillment, DuPont Safety Resources, Asia Pacific, discussed how enhancing safety performance helps attain operational and business excellence to representatives from The Petroleum Federation of India and the IndianOil Institute of Petroleum Management.

Roger highlighted how safety is a business driver at DuPont and detailed key factors involved in safety excellence, including its impact on diverse stakeholders. He said the DuPont experience demonstrates that "good safety is good business."

Ramabhadran discussed the major segments of safety, health and environment management during his presentation, ‘Global Oil & Gas Industry – DuPont Experience.’ He stressed the elements of behavioral and process safety and risk management. He also shared the DuPont experiences in helping clients upgrade safety behaviors and systems to achieve superior safety performance.
