Expansion Follows Successful Engagement with Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority

DuPont Safety Resources has recently established a Western United States regional office in Irvine, Calif., that specializes in helping companies and organizations reduce workplace injuries and fatalities. 

DuPont expects to see substantial growth in the new office because of the strong demand across California and other western states for solutions that address the high cost of workers’ compensation and the desire among employers to help provide safer lives for their employees.

Several companies and government organizations in Southern California are working with DuPont consultants to improve their safety management systems.   Recently DuPont completed a multi-year engagement with the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (LACMTA) that helped the authority reduce workers’ compensation claims by more than 50 percent since 2001. The engagement focused on reducing lost work days and bus accident claims.
