Managing Safety: Techniques That Work for Oil and Gas Line Supervisors

Dates: Wednesday, May 21 – Thursday, May 22, 2008

This training seminar is specifically designed to help line supervisors improve their safety management skills and gain employees' active participation in improved safety practice.

This 2-day course introduces the proprietary DuPont methodology that builds on the supervisor’s acceptance of responsibility for safety in his or her work area. Participants will learn how to:

  • Improve safety in your area by gaining the cooperation and participation of your employees
  • Recognize and correct unsafe situations and behavior through auditing
  • Conduct effective incident investigations
  • Prevent incident recurrence
