Managing Safety: Techniques that Work for Line Supervisors

This training seminar is specifically designed to help line supervisors improve their safety management skills and gain employees' active participation in improved safety practice. When safety is effectively managed throughout the line organization, supervisors:

  • Take the initiative in overseeing safety in their areas.
  • Ensure the safety of all operations in the area.
  • Make safety a joint effort and shared responsibility with employees in the area as much as possible.

Focused on developing skills that are needed for effective safety management, this 2-day course introduces the proprietary DuPont methodology that builds on the supervisor’s acceptance of responsibility for safety in his or her work area. Participants learn specific actions supervisors can take to make a positive impact on safety performance with practical techniques that have proven successful in reducing incidents and injuries.

All sessions begin at 8:00 AM on the first day and end at approximately 5:00 PM on the second day.
