Improve productivity, lower costs
DuPont™ Metal Fluid Filtration Media features a thinner web of uniform pores that allows for a higher rate of emulsion to flow through the filter. More emulsion filtering through at a faster rate helps increase system efficiency and reduces media indexing. Longer indexing intervals prolong the life of the media since less is used. This reduction of media consumption not only helps lower overall production costs, it also reduces equipment downtime for roll change outs.

Increase purity, reduce contamination
DuPont™ Metal Fluid Filtration Media with its thin web of uniform pores captures more contaminants than thicker media that have lower emulsion flow though rates. It can be used in processes that generate ultra fine, fine, coarse and rough particulates from 5-400 microns in size. In addition, DuPont™ Metal Fluid Filtration Media is made from 100% binder-free polyester for improved microbiological control.

Longer rolls, less waste
DuPont™ Metal Fluid Filtration Media is engineered to be durable even though it is significantly thinner than media with comparable performance. The low basis weight of the media helps reduce jamming in the indexing process and allows for much longer rolls. The durability of the media helps reduce tearing in filtering sharp particulates. Both features reduce downtime to reconnect media rolls or replace them. In addition the high emulsion flow through rate of the thinner, longer rolls of DuPont™ Metal Fluid Filtration Media adsorb little fluid and eliminate wet cakes to reduce waste disposal weight and resulting costs.

Versatile media, simplified inventory
DuPont™ Metal Fluid Filtration Media can be used in virtually all ferrous and non-ferrous machining processes where a variety of lubricants and by-products such as swarf, aluminum soaps and tramp oils are introduced. Our one media with an optimal flow rate can replace many different media in diverse metalworking operations with even the most stringent process parameters. A range of styles and weights ensures the proper filter for any gravity, pressure or vacuum filtration system.
