The filtration media is critical
The Metalworking industry relies on cutting fluids to keep machining temperatures steady when processing ferrous and non-ferrous metals in a variety of processes. Each combination of machining and metals produces various sized particulates from fines to large chips and unique process by-products such as grinding grit or swarf and aluminum soaps. These variables, combined with other debris and hydraulic lubricants called tramp oils that are introduced in the process through equipment, create special filtration requirements to keep the cutting fluids pure and working properly. DuPont™ Metal Fluid Filtration Media is engineered to accommodate multiple metals, by-products, machining operations and fluids.

Product basis weights, lengths and widths
DuPont™ Metal Fluid Filtration Media, made from 100% binder-free polyester, is available in a range of styles and weights to ensure the proper filter for any gravity, pressure or vacuum filtration system. All media come in standard and custom widths from 19 to 52 inches. Lead times for custom widths vary from 3-6 weeks. Minimum quantity may apply. All widths are available in 200-yard rolls and most are available in 100-yard rolls with a standard 3-inch roll core.
Typically, most machines can use filter roll width that is 1 inch wider or shorter than specified to help reduce your inventory.
