Since our origins, safety has been a cultural axis of our company. We started from the concept that all accidents can be prevented, and this principle is applied everyday, inside and outside our workplace.

We, at DuPont Mexico, use the best industry practices. We work hard to improve our processes, practices and products, while reducing our environmental impact.

Environment

More than 10 years ago, DuPont created a program to improve the habitat and the surroundings of its plants and facilities. With no question, Altamira is one of the best examples of this ecological preservation plan. Thanks to this effort, the facility has been certified by the Wildlife Habitat Council independent organization promoting environmental awareness among private properties.

The Federal Attorney for Environmental Protection (Procuraduría Federal de Protección Ambiental) (PROFEPA) has certified our plants in Tlalnepantla, Lerma, Ocoyoacac and Altamira as Clean Industries; and granted the Environmental Excellence Recognition to DuPont for environmentally sound practices conducted in our Agriculture Products Plant in Lerma.
