DuPont™ Sontara® MicroPure products were designed to meet the challenges of keeping cleanrooms clean and free from particulates and contamination on working surfaces.

Engineered for use in situations which require “clean absorbency,” Sontara® MicroPure wipes products are not woven, spun into yarns, or knitted. They do not require binders, glues or other chemicals and adhesives to hold the fibers together.

Sontara® MicroPure wipes (other than MP Knit™) are created using spunlace technology, which uses needle-like jets of pure water to turn them into fabric. This creates a particularly low-linting fabric that will not compromise the surfaces of your cleanroom.

Whether you’re cleaning lab apparatus and sensitive equipment and/or wiping up spills, Sontara® offers a wide range of wiping products to meet your specific needs.

Requirements for wiping and cleaning levels may vary. Choosing the appropriate wipe depends on many factors, for example: the surface to be cleaned (smooth or rough, edges or without edges, etc.), the required level of cleanliness, procedures employed and others.
