DuPont™ Sontara® products were designed to meet the challenges of keeping production lines and cleanrooms both clean and free from particulates and contamination on working surfaces.

Engineered for use in situations which require “clean absorbency,” Sontara® MicroPure wipes are not woven or knitted into yarns, so they do not require binders, glues or other chemicals and adhesives to hold the fibers together or to make them absorbent.

Sontara® MicroPure wipes are created using spunlace technology, which uses needle-like jets of pure water to turn them into fabric. This creates a particularly low-linting fabric that will not compromise the surfaces of your cleanroom.

Uses for cleanroom wipes made with DuPont™ Sontara® include:
• Cleanroom protection and maintenance
• Cleaning lab apparatus and sensitive equipment
• Absorbing spills

DuPont™ Sontara® MicroPure products are available in a range of fabrics to meet cleanroom performance from Class 2—6:
