Sales Director, DuPont South Africa & Sales Competence Leader, DuPont Sub-Saharan Africa
Meth has been with DuPont for more than 17 years, contributing to several businesses and industries. He joined the Company in 1995 as Key Account Manager for DuPont Performance Coatings, Germany, where he was responsible for servicing Japanese and Korean customers in the automotive sector. Six years later, he took position as Business Manager for Fiat and Alfa Romeo, as well as Country Manager for DuPont Automotive Systems, Italy.
In 2003, Meth was appointed Senior Managing Director of DuPont Shinto Automotive Systems, Japan, following which he moved back to Germany as Sales & Marketing Director for the Europe, Middle East and Africa region of DuPont Packaging Graphics. Meth is well traveled and versed in English, Japanese, Italian, French and Spanish.
In his current positions as Sales Director and Competency Leader, Meth will drive growth opportunities for DuPont throughout Sub-Saharan Africa. He will do so by ensuring collaboration between the different DuPont businesses, particularly in the food, energy, infrastructure and protection industries. With his growing knowledge of the African market, Meth is particularly well placed to comment on the challenges that the continent is faced with, as a result of the rapid population growth.
Before joining DuPont, Meth served two years at in the Automotive Systems business unit at Herberts GmbH, Germany. He holds a degree in Business Administration, obtained in Germany.
