Adding this once during your start-up process will help maintain stable pH and alkalinity levels, eliminating the need to measure or adjust alkalinity during routine maintenance. At start-up, add 2 lbs (1 bottle) for up to 300 gallons of water.
DuPont™ Spa Care Start-Up
Available in 2 oz pouches.
Spa Start-Up delivers a supply of sodium bromide to your spa water. When performing Routine Care, this bromide is readily activated by DuPont Shock Oxidizer to produce active bromine that kills microorganisms and keeps water clean for bathers.
DuPont™ Spa Care Calcium Hardness Increaser
Available in 1 qt bottles.
Calcium levels in water vary by geography, but all water has some natural hardness. Too little calcium hardness can lead to equipment corrosion and too much can result in scaly mineral deposits. So it’s important to ensure that you have the right levels in your spa. The correct hardness range is 150-400 ppm. You can adjust levels as needed, by following the dosing recommendations in your DuPont Spa Care User Guide .
