Spruance Volunteer Recognition Event/Dinner

Employee volunteerism gives $1,000 boost to five community organizations

Spruance site leadership recently presented $1,000 checks to five area community organizations as part of the company's Volunteer Recognition Award program.  The Volunteer Recognition Award program honors company volunteers for their efforts by providing a financial boost to the organizations they volunteer with.  This is part of a corporate-wide, on-going program to recognize and to promote volunteer service in the communities in which DuPont operates facilities.  The employees or teams of employees who were honored for their volunteer efforts in 2006 and the organizations that received checks were:

  • Ricky Dale - Chester YMCA
  • Lori Bailey, Jermaine Brandon, Paula Forte, Letisha Gray, Howard Murray, Daina Searcy, Ramona Thomas, Rodney Wideman, Keyana Copeland, Khaalique Kelly, Demetrius Frazier - Meadowbrook High School.
  • Karen Wrigley, Althea Haylett, Danny Henderson - MS Society of Richmond.
  • Althea Haylett - Refugee & Immigration Services.
  • Tom Dunston, Bob Morris, Eddie Walker, Danny Wingo (Spruance 3,000 Day Safety Club) - Sheltering Arms Rehabilitation Centers
