Remember, DuPont requires that all its surface products be installed by a specially trained DuPont Certified Fabricator/Installer to assure that your countertop is installed to the highest possible standards. In some markets in the Northeast we are experimenting with a ‘ready-to-install’ version of Simplicity. If you prefer to do it yourself or have other choices for installing counter tops, this may be an option that’s interesting to you. Is Simplicity® stain-resistant?

Simplicity® is stain resistant. Because Simplicity® is nonporous, stains can't penetrate the surface, so it's easy to clean and maintain. Unlike natural stone, Simplicity® never requires sealing.

Is Simplicity® heat-resistant?

Simplicity® is an excellent material for heat resistance. As with all countertop materials, it is important to minimize direct heat exposure to protect your surface and investment. We recommend using rubber-footed heat trivets or hot pads when placing hot objects on any surface. Allow cookware to cool before placing them into a Simplicity® sink.

How do I clean my Simplicity®?

DuPont™ Simplicity® is easy to clean. Soapy water or an ammonia-based cleaner is all that is necessary for day-to-day care of your Simplicity®. Minor cuts or scratches are also easy to repair. For large defects and repairs or for complete routine professional refurbishing service, contact your local Simplicity® sales expert.

How can I get samples?

Want to try a sample of a surface to see if it matches your décor? Samples are a great way to match countertop colors to other finishes in your home. Samples of Simplicity® can be obtained by visiting the product section of this website.

No, Simplicity® is nonporous. Unlike natural stone, Simplicity® never needs sealing making it easy to live with! Simplicity® is a simple, maintenance-free surface that you're sure to enjoy for many years to come.

What is the easiest way to measure my countertop?

In order to get a square-foot measurement, measure the length and width of your countertop. Multiply these numbers together. If you've measured in inches, divide the result by 144 to get to approximate square footage.
