DuPont Surfaces Products Awarded “Green Approved”
Product Seal.

Several products from the DuPont Building Innovations portfolio have received the coveted Green Approved Product Seal for National Green Building Certification by the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) Research Center.  Now, builders who use these “Green Approved” DuPont products can earn points toward certification to the National Green Building Standard™.

National Green Building Certification assures homeowners that a residential project meets the requirements of either the NAHB Model Green Home Building Guidelines or the ICC 700-2008 National Green Building Standard.

DuPont Surfaces products (and potential points earned) include:

• The DuPont™ Zodiaq® Terra Collection (up to 2 points)
• DuPont™ Corian® Solid Surfaces and DuPont™ Zodiaq® Quartz Surfaces in wall cladding applications (up to 4 points)

The Zodiaq® Terra Collection received the Green Award due to its post-consumer recycled content. All colors and collections of DuPont™ Corian® solid surface and DuPont™ Zodiaq® quartz surface received approval when the product is used to cover the walls of at least one typical size room.
