ATLANTA, May 1 - 3, 2009 – The 2009 DuPont™ Corian^® Private Collection was inspired by the picturesque stratification of clouds and sky at dusk, the scenic intermingling of the hues of rolling farmland and the quaint pebbling of a sandy beach.

The 8 new Corian^® hues – Witch Hazel, Sandalwood, Jasmine, Saffron, Elderberry, Juniper, Thyme and Rosemary – were inspired by the graceful movements of land and sky and help turn kitchens and baths into refuges from the complexity of our lives. The collection’s natural palette of browns, rusts, grays, blues and greens was designed to help create environments that refresh, restore and recharge.

The new colors combine natural base tones with golden and bronze shaded veining, dotted with harmonizing particulates. Particle sizes and tonalities are intermingled to emit a sense of movement to catch the eye and restore the soul.
