New Resource at .countertops.dupont.com Educates Consumers About Nine Kitchen Countertop Options –- from Corian® to Granite to Quartz and More

LAS VEGAS, May 8-10, 2007 – Choosing the ideal kitchen countertop has been made easier than ever thanks to DuPont Surfaces, which has launched an interactive, online quiz to help homeowners identify the best countertop option for their household and lifestyle. The quiz is the fifth offering in a comprehensive suite of online design tools from DuPont.

The new Countertop Selector quiz is easy to take. All consumers need to do is visit countertops.dupont.com to answer six countertop questions relating to style, maintenance, performance and cost. For example, quiz takers will answer if their style is classic, modern or casual to help determine the best countertop fit according to their personal taste. The DuPont proprietary, software will then “match” the respondents’ answers with two countertop recommendations. Weighted against 216 possible answer combinations, suggested preferences may include DuPont Surfaces such as solid surfacing, quartz surfacing and granite as well as non-DuPont traditional laminate, tile, butcher block, concrete, stainless steel and alternative stone.
