Application Description

Sealing layers of Surlyn® serve in multi-layer film structures for vacuum packaging of new Oscar Mayer "Big and Juicy" franks on horizontal form-fill-seal equipment. The top web combines PET/PVDC/adhesive with 2.5 mils (64 µm) of Surlyn®. Bottom web is nylon 6/PVDC/adhesive with 1.6 mils (41 µm) of Surlyn®.
