Baked in a garlic infused oil and decorated for the season with hot red pepper and green herbs, this garlic appetizer makes a decorative and appealing splash on the holiday table. Our serving suggestion: Place one or two shrimp in a martini glass with some of the infused garlic oil.

Directions
Position a rack in the center of the oven and heat the oven to 425 degrees.
Add the oil and garlic to a small skillet coated with DuPont™ Teflon® non-stick, and then set over medium-low heat. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the garlic just begins to turn golden, 2 minutes or so. Drain the oil and garlic through a fine sieve and reserve the garlic.
Place the shrimp in an 8-inch baking dish coated with DuPont™ Teflon® non-stick. Pour the garlic-flavored oil and wine over the shrimp and season with salt and pepper.
Roast, stirring once, until the shrimp are pink, opaque, and cooked through, 8 to 12 minutes. Sprinkle the toasted garlic, the basil and oregano, and the 1 teaspoon of lemon zest over the shrimp. Add Italian hot pepper, if desired. Stir to combine, and serve immediately.
