Skillet Pork Chops with Maple Bourbon Sauce
Servings: 4
Serve this delicious fall dish with red new potatoes and green beans.
Directions
Season the pork chops with salt and coat with the flour. In a large skillet, coated with DuPont™ Teflon® non-stick, heat the oil and brown the chops 2 minutes on each side; remove and set aside, discarding the oil.
Add the broth, bourbon, and the maple syrup and bring to a boil, stirring with a wooden spoon to deglaze the pan. Reduce the heat and return the chops to the skillet. Simmer until cooked through, about 15 minutes. Transfer the chops to a serving plate and bring the mixture to a boil so that it will thicken. Slowly add the cream, stirring frequently to a thick consistency. Season again with salt and sprinkle with the thyme.
