Table Gobble, Gobble
--Got Bread? Every holiday table seems more bountiful with a hunk or basket of bread on the table. Bread is not only a nice filler, but a terrific host for cranberry sauce or flavored butters.
--And if there is leftover bread, there is certainly leftover turkey, and time to make a sandwich. We did this one with bacon, late-summer plum slices, arugula, Cheddar cheese and coleslaw for crunch and for that turkey/mayo flavor we all crave in a leftover Thanksgiving sandwich. It would also taste good with some of that apple salsa we make in the BBQ Turkey Breast recipe right here in this month’s Cooking Class recipes.
