Teflon® AF: High-Performance Fluoropolymer Resins
The Teflon® AF amorphous fluoropolymers are distinct from other fluoropolymers in that they are soluble in selected solvents, have high gas permeability, high compressibility, creep resistance, and low thermal conductivity. Product Attributes
Tg 160°C and Tg 240°C; high thermal, chemical, mechanical, and electrical stability; high permanent gas permiability and perm-separability; high creep resistance; low thermal conductivity; optical transparency over a wide wavelength range; lowest dielectric constant of any known solid polymer; lowest index of refraction of any known polymer; limited solubility in selected perfluorinated solvents; and compression-melt processible.
