DuPont Titanium Technologies Announces a Price Increase for Ti-Pure® Titanium Dioxide Products in North America

WILMINGTON, Del., Sept. 23, 2009 -- DuPont Titanium Technologies (DTT) announced a price increase for all DuPont™ Ti-Pure® titanium dioxide (TiO2) grades sold in North America. Effective Oct. 1, 2009, or as permitted by contract, prices in North America (United States and Canada) will increase by 5 cents per pound (USD). This increase is in addition to the price increases announced on May 15, 2009 and July 22, 2009.

WILMINGTON, Del., Sept. 23, 2009 -- DuPont Titanium Technologies (DTT) announced a price increase for all DuPont™ Ti-Pure® titanium dioxide (TiO2) grades sold in Latin America. Effective Oct. 1, 2009, or as permitted by contract, prices in Latin America will increase by $150 (USD) per metric ton. This increase is in addition to the price increases announced on June 3, 2009 and July 31, 2009.

Effective Oct. 1, 2009, or as permitted by contract, prices in the Euro markets of Western and Central Europe and North Africa regions will increase by 100 euros per tonne. This increase is in addition to the price increases announced on May 15, 2009 and July 27, 2009.

SINGAPORE, Aug. 27, 2009 – DuPont Titanium Technologies today announced a price increase for all DuPont™ Ti-Pure® titanium dioxide grades sold in the Asia Pacific region. Effective Oct. 1, 2009, or as permitted by contract, prices for all titanium dioxide grades (TiO2) will increase $150 (USD) per ton in Asia Pacific. Effective Oct. 1, 2009 or as permitted by contract, prices in China will increase by 1RMB/kg. This price increase is in addition to the increase announced on June 3, 2009.

DuPont VP Says Economic Crisis Will Bring Permanent Changes to Titanium Dioxide Industry

ROME, Mar. 18, 2009 - New economic realities resulting from the global recession will permanently change the business landscape, a DuPont vice president told business leaders here today. “Although it is difficult to predict when global economies will rebound from the current downturn, the new economic reality will force major industries to permanently change the way they operate,” Richard C. Olson, vice president and general manager -- DuPont Titanium Technologies, said at a global conference focused on the titanium dioxide industry. DuPont is the world’s largest manufacturer of titanium dioxide, a white pigment used widely in coatings, plastics and paper.
