DuPont™ Light Stabilizer 210

DuPont™ Light Stabilizer 210 is an ultrafine titanium dioxide product.  It has been designed to provide exceptional protection from the effects of ultraviolet (UV) light. DuPont™ Light Stabilizer 210 contains surface-modified composite oxide particles tailored to absorb and scatter ultraviolet light as efficiently as possible.  The particles are non-migratory, readily dispersible, and possess extraordinary stability in use.  DuPont™ Light Stabilizer 210 is provided as a dry, readily-handled powder.  It is a low tint strength material resulting in low impact on color in thick sections and translucency in film applications.

For polymer masterbatch producers, compounders, resin producers, and processors DuPont™ Light Stabilizer 210 will provide:

  • broad-spectrum and superior UV blocking performance (UVA & UVB),
  • non-migratory UV screening,
  • compatibility - low chemical interaction with other components in the formulation both initially and upon UV exposure,

for a broad range of applications including films, packaging, construction and transportation applications.

 

DuPont™ Light Stabilizer 210 has broad compatibility with polymer systems and processing techniques.

Applications where DuPont™ Light Stabilizer 210 is of particular value are:

  • injection molding, blow molding, and blown film of polyethylene or polypropylene
  • rigid interior, flexible, and plastisol PVC, as well as PVC used for composite and sheet flooring
  • durable polyethylene or polypropylene
  • thermoplastic elastomers
