ABS Applications
Ti-Pure® R-350
ABS terpolymer colored with TiO2 pigment, is used generally for non-durable applications. If durability is required for outdoor applications, then ASA lamination over ABS via co-extrusion is common and ASA is pigmented with TiO2. Ti-Pure® R-350 is preferred for ABS. R-350 provides the optimal combination of clear, blue initial color with thermal and UV stability. For ASA durable applications, Ti-Pure® R-105 and R-960 are most suitable.
DuPont™ Light Stabilizer 210
DuPont™ Light Stabilizer 210 is an ultrafine titanium dioxide and is preferred for ABS terpolymer UV degradation protection. DuPont™ Light Stabilizer 210 absorbs and scatters UV light reducing the amount of UV that can break down the polymer. It provides superior non migratory protection combined with low chemical interaction.
