Mary Kay James

Advanced Materials, CleanTech and Electronic Materials

Mary Kay James is an expert in evaluating opportunities across electronic and communication technologies, performance materials and clean energy solutions. She works closely with DuPont businesses which produce advanced interconnect materials, products for IC fabrication and packaging, electronic materials for displays, and optical components. She also helps entrepreneurial companies leverage DuPont market contacts for printable electronics, photovoltaics, energy storage solutions and smart packaging, as well as color and coatings technologies.

Chris Marino

Construction, Safety Technology and Transportation

Chris Marino has vast industry expertise across a wide variety of safety and protection applications. He works with enterprising companies to commercialize and market new technologies for waste processing, filtration systems and protection/detection systems for chemical and biological agents. He also helps entrepreneurs connect with DuPont businesses to introduce more effective protective apparel and innovative fire prevention/protection products.

Vik Prabhu Bio-based Materials and Health Care  

Vik Prabhu develops venture and investment opportunities that provide strategic options for DuPont and the Applied BioSciences business unit in particular, in the general areas of biotechnology and biomaterials. He has broad venture development and business leadership experience in the areas of medical devices, bio-analytical, biomaterials, biofuels and nutraceuticals. He maintains a wide network in the biotechnology, health care and associated investment communities, and works with entrepreneurial companies as well as venture capital companies in developing new ventures, involving know how and intellectual property as key drivers for early and sustainable value creation.

Ravi Ramadhar

Agriculture & Nutrition and Safety Technology 

Ravi Ramadhar develops venture and investment opportunities for DuPont's agricultural and nutrition platform. He works closely with entrepreneurial companies to secure science and commercialization support for  opportunities across agriculture and nutrition businesses, including seed trait enhancement, gene transformation, food safety diagnostics, enhanced nutrition and environmentally superior crop protection solutions.   He has broad venture development and business leadership experience in the areas of agriculture, diagnostics and biotechology.

Membrane Separations,  Energy Storage,  NanoComposites and Power Generation

Kwaku Temeng focuses on investments in advanced materials applied to energy storage (batteries, supercapacitors, fuel cells), process fluid management (filtration, dehydration, solvent recovery), and power generation, including photovoltaics.  He also develops opportunities for nano-composites, in such industries as coatings, inks, structural and barrier materials.  Kwaku brings direct experience in market-driven technology development as well as commercialization of business concepts in embryonic markets.
