Heavy Soil Removal

DuPont™ Vertrel® specialty fluids can be used for removal of difficult soils from solvent safe plastics and from metal parts. The main advantage of using a DuPont™ Vertrel® based cleaning system is that you will get a clean, spot-free, dry product as soon as you have finished cleaning the parts.

Unlike aqueous based cleaning systems, DuPont™ Vertrel® cleaned products come out dry and spot-free, giving you better cleaning performance. There is no need to worry about surfactant that may be left behind on the cleaned part once dried. Some benefits of a DuPont™ Vertrel® based cleaning system over an aqueous cleaning system are listed below:

  • Spot-free drying
  • No separate drying step required thereby improving throughput
  • No oven or hot air drying therefore lower energy costs
  • Less floor space required since no separate dryer is required
  • Parts can be handled immediately after cleaning due to low temperature operation
