DuPont Vespel® custom parts and stock shapes are specified where the material, design and the application are critical for success. Vespel® parts and shapes are ISO-9001 and ISO-14001 certified.
DuPont engineers work closely with part designers to optimize the design, the production method and the material to get the best end-use results. The manufacturing method ultimately chosen is based on a number of considerations including part geometry and economics.
For prototypes, small quantities or complex geometries, DuPont may recommend economically fabricating a part from stock shapes, rods, or plaques. Machine shops use Vespel® stock shapes to provide the best performance.
