Vespel® CR-6100 parts such as wear rings can operate with lower clearance than metal components. Tighter clearances save energy by improving pump efficiency and sharply reducing vibration, thus cutting wear and tear on other pump components. Vespel® CR-6100 parts can help in reducing downtime and emission spikes by continuing to perform during various process upsets that produce run-dry or low-flow conditions. In addition, they are highly resistant to most chemicals, including amines and strong acids.

High-performance Kalrez® seals
DuPont™ Kalrez® parts used as O-rings, gaskets, and valve seats can withstand aggressive chemicals and maintain tight seals over a very wide temperature range. Users can choose among a range of options to meet particular application challenges.
For oil and gas equipment seals that are used in repeated rapid gas decompression environments, Kalrez® 0090 parts are now available. They hold the best possible rating in third-party testing conducted according to the NORSOK M-710(rev-2) standard. They also have proven chemical resistance to sour multi-phase fluids containing H2S as well as other desirable properties, including high modulus and extrusion resistance.
To get the ultimate in low-temperature performance, users can select Kalrez® Spectrum™ 0040 seals. They help contain leaks and in resisting chemical attack at temperatures down to -42°C and up to +220°C.
For the broadest possible chemical resistance in an elastomer seal, Kalrez® Spectrum™ 6375 parts can withstand most aggressive chemical families including acids, amines, bases, aldehydes, ethylene oxide, hot water and steam. Service temperature can range up to 275°C.
When service temperatures for elastomer seals peak above 275°C, Kalrez® Spectrum™ 7075 parts should be considered. Depending on chemical exposure, they can serve in applications ranging up to 327°C while also providing excellent chemical resistance.
