David B. Miller is president of DuPont Electronics & Communications. Mr. Miller joined DuPont in 1981.
Mr. Miller began his career with DuPont at the Savannah River Plant in Aiken, S.C., where he held several positions in engineering and manufacturing. He then moved into the DuPont Electronic Materials business where he held assignments in sales, marketing and business management, including managing director of the Asia Pacific Region. Upon his return from Asia (Tokyo, Japan), Mr. Miller became a director in DuPont Investor Relations. He was named vice president and general manager, DuPont Electronic Technologies in January 2001. In June 2007 he was named group vice president of DuPont Electronic & Communication Technologies. He assumed his present position in October 2009.
Mr. Miller is a member of the Semiconductor Equipment and Materials International (SEMI) board of directors, and chairman of the SEMI North America advisory board. He represents DuPont on the Global Solar Council. He serves as a member of the board of directors of the North Carolina Chamber of Commerce, and a trustee of the University of Virginia School of Engineering & Applied Science. He was previously a member of the board of directors of Merrimac Industries, an advanced electronics packaging technology company.
He was born in Wilmington, Del. He has a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Virginia.
