Mary P. Van Veen is vice president - Tax. She joined DuPont in 1996 in Wilmington as a tax analyst.
Ms. Van Veen held various positions in Federal, State and International Tax before transferring to Geneva in 2001 as an area tax manager. In 2004, she returned to the United States as manager of International Tax. In 2006, she was transferred back to Geneva and assumed the role of regional tax manager – EMEA. From 2008 to 2012, she held the position of director- Global Tax, where she was responsible for all tax affairs of the company. She was named to her current position in January 2012.
Ms. Van Veen is a certified public accountant and a member of the American Institute of CPAs. She is a member of the Tax Executives Institute as well as the Tax Sections of the Manufacturers Alliance, the Business Roundtable and the American Chemical Council.
She received her bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Goldey Beacom College and her master’s degree in Taxation from Widener University.
