DuPont and Sunrise Global Solar Energy Corporation announced that they have produced solar cells with conversion efficiencies of 20.3 percent using newly commercialized DuPont™ Solamet® PV36X series aluminum pastes for rear-side passivation of silicon solar cells.

DuPont came one step closer today to commercializing advanced biofuels by breaking ground on its cellulosic ethanol facility in Nevada, Iowa. Expected to be completed in mid-2014, this more than $200 million facility will be among the first and largest commercial-scale cellulosic biorefineries in the world.
