In both 2012 and 2011, DuPont was named among the Best Places to Work in Large Industry by The Scientist. In 2012 we won Green Power’s Sustainable Biofuels Award for Feedstock Innovation. In 2011 and 2010, DuPont offerings earned the “Most Innovative Use of Plastics Award” from the Society of Plastics Engineers and the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in the Innovation category for continuous innovations associated with improving solar energy cells. The Wall Street Journal has recognized DuPont Qualicon’s innovative BAX® food safety system for its pioneering pathogen detection technology. Pioneer research fellow Bill Dolezal won the American Phytopathological Society 2011 Excellence in Industry Award for outstanding contributions to plant pathology. Also in 2011 DuPont Distinguished Scientist George Lahm was recognized with the Agrow Lifetime Achievement Award. In 2010 DuPont Crop Protection and retired agroscientist George Levitt were honored for revolutionizing the agriculture industry. Our engineers and scientists today continue a remarkable legacy of DuPont technical excellence and innovation.
