DuPont Named One of World's Most Innovative Organizations
DuPont has recently opened eight Innovation Centers around the world to provide an environment for collaboration with customers, government, academia and business partners.

DuPont was recently named for a second consecutive year to the Thomson Reuters’ Top 100 Global Innovators list.  It honors 100 global corporations and institutions that are at the heart of innovation as measured by a series of proprietary patent-related metrics.

“Throughout our history, DuPont has been awarded more than 37,500 patents. Today, innovation requires that we put our patents to work, collaborating with our customers and anticipating growth trends in key markets,” said Tom Connelly, executive vice president and chief innovation officer for DuPont.

"Innovation is the foundation for economic prosperity and technological advancement," said David Brown, managing director, Thomson Reuters IP Solutions. "Our Top 100 Global Innovator methodology demonstrates the insight that can be gleaned from the analysis of patent data and confirms the fact that companies focused on innovating drive growth and financial success."

“At DuPont, our commitment to research and development is a core strength,” Tom said. “We leverage the power of our global resources to help local partners meet market needs in the areas of food, protection and energy. DuPont’s ability to innovate keeps us relevant. We are honored to be named among the Thomson Reuters 2012 Top 100 Global Innovators list.”
