DuPont recently released its 2012 Sustainability Progress Report - marking 20 years of sustainability reporting.  The report was a truly collaborative effort with many employee contributions in providing data, stories, edits and feedback.

Similar in form to the Annual Review, this year’s 12-page report highlights our sustainability performance and positioning. It focuses on our performance against the 2015 market-facing and footprint goals, as well as the new 2020 energy goal. We have already exceeded three of the four market-facing goals, which focus on improvements beyond our own operations. Our footprint goals identify opportunities to reduce our operational impacts on the environment. We are continuing to work on our performance against the footprint goals.

“Setting and reporting on these goals helps us integrate sustainability into our business strategy, improve our environmental performance, and provide positive sustainability benefits throughout our value chains,” said Vice President and Chief Sustainability Officer Linda Fisher.  “We are excited to see that the business of sustainability at DuPont has truly become business as usual.”
