DuPont Chile was recently recognized among the “Best Companies for Working Mothers and Fathers" for its work-life practices. DuPont placed eighth in the small/medium company category out of a total of 111 organizations. The ranking was conducted by the Chile Kingdom Foundation and Ya Magazine.
"Our position in this ranking makes us very proud; especially since it’s the first time we participated in a study of this nature,” said Jennifer Uribe, DuPont Chile general manager. “It motivates us to keep working to advance our practices for our employees and consequently improve our productivity.”
Some of the topics evaluated by employees for the study were: work flexibility, personal development, training, child care, maternal and paternal leave and female representation in the organization.
"An analysis of the study results will be essential to build the 2013 HR Plan for our organization to ensure we improve our programs," said Carolina Castro, DuPont Chile HR manager.
