Some of Wall Street’s biggest movers and shakers think DuPont is getting it right when it comes to Investor Relations, according to a survey of 2,700 of the nation’s top securities analysts conducted by Institutional Investor Magazine. In the magazine’s annual ranking of more than 1,900 U.S. companies, DuPont was cited as one of “America’s Most Honored Companies.”
DuPont Chair and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Ellen Kullman was named the No.1 CEO among Basic Materials companies in the chemical industry by the buy-side analysts who participated in the survey. These same analysts – who typically conduct research and provide advice to large investing institutions such as mutual funds, pension funds and insurance companies – gave high marks to Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Nick Fanandakis and the DuPont Investor Relations (IR) program, as well. Nick was named the No. 2 CFO and the IR team likewise took second honors among their peers in the chemical companies’ category.
“It’s great to learn that the nation’s top portfolio managers and analysts have recognized DuPont,” said Nick. “The opinions of these investors who follow our company are invaluable to us in shaping and improving our outreach to the financial community, so it’s good to hear they’re pleased with what we do.”
