Italian Foods for Diabetics
A delicious and healthy alternative.

 

DuPont is helping people with diabetes and cardiovascular diseases eat healthy foods that also reflect the tradition of the Mediterranean diet.

Italian Nutritional Healthcare™ (INH) has just launched a product line called INH For Life™, which contains Solae soy proteins and Litesse®, a polydextrose from Nutrition & Health. These ingredients have a low glycemic index, which means they do not rapidly increase blood sugar levels, which is good news for diabetics.

The first product series, available exclusively at pharmacies and online, includes desserts, biscuits, cornflakes, instant creams, and one of the symbolic dietary staples in Italy: pasta.
