DuPont Nutrition and Health recently participated for the second time at Innoval, the only meeting in Colombia that promotes innovation in the food industry. The meeting was held in Bogotá.

As a leader in security and specialty food ingredients, DuPont presented its main brands: DuPont™ Danisco®, Solae™ and Qualicon, with its wide range of natural and bioingredients, soy proteins and cutting-edge diagnostic technologies that help improve the taste, texture and safety of food products, as well as their health profile.

Ximena Munoz, Solae® Specialties leader in the Andean Region, said the objective of DuPont’s participation in this event was to "maintain close contact with customers, to be updated on the challenges they are facing in the Colombian market, and initiate relationships with those who do not know the value proposition that DuPont Nutrition & Health has today.”

Cereal bars that combine the health benefits of polydextrose and soy protein, and vitamin K2-fortified biscuits with soy protein, were offered to approximately 200 event participants. Additionally, Food Technology Master and Senior Application Specialist Antonio Salles presented on the digestive and weight management benefits of Litesse® polydextrose during his presentation titled, "Fiber: Digestive Health and Satiety.”
