The DuPont Corporate Marketing & Sales (CMS) team held its second annual golf outing at the DuPont Country Club to raise money for the United Way of Delaware. Scott Coleman, Nick Fanandakis, Diane Gulyas, Mike Kullman, Don Linsenmann and Mark Wagner were among the DuPont leaders who were joined by nearly 70 golfers who raised $3,226 for the United Way.
“Supporting the United Way of Delaware is one of the best ways we can help our neighbors in need,” said Scott, Chief Marketing & Sales Officer. “Our lives can get so hectic - between work, family and friends - that it is easy to forget that there are people all around us who silently struggle to put food on the table or buy clothes for their children.”
“It is important that DuPont comes together through events like this annual golf outing to do what we can to provide relief," added Diane, president of DuPont Performance Polymers.
The 2012 event was the second year that CMS held its golf outing and, because of the dedication of team members, CMS was able to double the money raised. Groups of four played in the best-ball format, with the winning foursome being Megan DeStafano, Thomas Haun, Jim Pawloski and Doug Pereira.
“Our annual golf outing continues to grow in participation and dollars raised,” said Scott. “We would like to encourage other DuPonters to join us next year for a fulfilling day of golf that means so much to so many.”
Team members Vicki Anthos, Clare Bobiak, Roland Pamm, Leland Weaver and Denise Zizas were instrumental in the planning and day of activities for the event.
