On Sept. 13, DuPont Senior Vice President and General Counsel Tom Sager lead a group of nine employees from Legal and Security Functions on a Days of Caring Project at Children & Families First. The group painted a conference room, an office and two restrooms.
“I always like painting projects,” said Tom. “And when you can combine a Days of Caring Project with a group like Children and Families First, it is an opportunity to learn more about the community around us and those on the front line providing much needed assistance. Our contribution today helps this fine organization achieve its mission.”
Matt Johnson and Chuck Woolsey were the project managers that scoped the work for tools and supplies. It was done with such accuracy; it would have made any Six Sigma Black Belt proud!
The “Crew of 9” included Tom Sager, Sue Slayton, Matthew Johnson, Cheryl Thompkins, Mary Bowler, Karyn Osmundson, Sara DiLuzio, Bill Harris, and Charles (Chuck) Woolsey.
Days of Caring Projects like this one help defray operation costs so that more funds are available to help clients.
